Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming:
"WOW, what a ride !!!"

from John in Kansas

The MX Legend #45 Buzzy Sharra

Here is a post vintage bike that I built with an OW 13 chromoly frame. It uses a Fox mono air shock, longer swing aim, milled Webco head, and a ported 77' YZ 400 motor. Thanks for a Great site!

Robert Fish's 1979 YZ 125 F. 1982 YZ 250-43mm forks w/Race Tech emulator valves, 83 YZ triple clamps, double leading shoe front brake, 4.0-4.6kg triple springs, 06 YZ titanium foot pegs, powder coated Excel wheels w/19" rear conversion, Michelin S12 soft compound tires, Carmichael bend Pro Taper contour bars, gasser style throttle, ASV levers, custom aluminum rear brake stay arm, nos cylinder w/works porting, and thermal coating. Wiseco piston w/ceramic coating on dome, and DG head combustion chamber, Moly coated trans gears, shafts, piston skirt. DID o-ring 520 chain, triple needle bearing swing arm, and lots and lots of NOS parts.
I did all the work, except for the wheel lacing. I originally started out just wanting to upgrade my 78 that I restored last year... except SO MANY parts were different, I ended up building another bike. At 54 years old, I got my hand full of teenagers in the 125 class, but last year after 30 years away from dirt bikes I got hooked again, and really enjoy the rush...
